TTCC Stock Car Station 1 Champion.  Mr. Yu is the first Asian race driver using SFR Motor Oil.

Career Profile

  1. 1984: After purchasing a modified racer, Liu participated in a local car race.  During the first race of the series, his car rolled over and could not reach the finish line.  Liu determined to become a better race driver and show what he could accomplish in the race course.

  1. 1993: Monte Carlo Cup 1400cc Non-modified Group Grand Champion.  Modified Group First Runner-up.

  2. 1994: Marlboro Cup 1400cc Modified Group Grand Champion.

  3. 1995: Liu hit the wall during the third race of Marlboro Cup 1600cc Modified Group.  With a broken right leg, injuries on the head and shoulders, Liu was out of any race for the year and more.

  4. 1997: Liu was back to the race course and was the accumulated First Runner-up of Taiwan Stock Car Race Series.

  5. 1998: Joined the Tianjian Race Team in China as both head coach and driver.

  6. 1999: Second Runner-up, International Group of Taiwan Stock Car Race Series.

  7. 2000: Led his D2 Race Team to compete in Taiwan Stock Car Race Series.

Since using SFR, Liu's D2 Race Team has won:

1st Place Finish: 1

2nd Place Finish: 2

3rd Place Finish: 2

Taiwan, Japan, U.K., Portugal, Macau, Philippines, Mainland China (Beijing, Zhuhai, Zhengzhou, Tianjian, Guangzhou, Shanghai, etc.).

Prizes and Awards

Liu is the only race driver in Taiwan participating in both stock car and formula car races.
